We were disappointed that the restaurant was much quieter than other restaurants around which served far inferior food. The prices are high for Poland, but anywhere else in Europe you would literally pay double or more for this quality and standard of cooking - to us it was a real bargain! To top it off, the location is beautiful in the main square, and you can sit outside enjoying the delightful square when weather permits. The service was fantastic (especially compared to the general standard in Polish restaurants) - both professional and personable, and they have a good wine list. I've eaten in many Michelin star restaurants that don't have food as good as this. The chef really knows what he is doing, as each dish was filled with many amazing flavours that tasted delicious individually as well as combined together.

We decided to try this one as it sounded a bit different, but we were a little unsure as it wasn't as busy as the others. Most of the restaurants in Lublin look identical and the food is pretty underwhelming. Now that's good!!!Ĭhapter One, we will be back for more, hopefully next time will be the spring menu.

The overall price for this fantastic service and food is probably around £100-£150 for two with food and drinks. If you fancy and enjoy good food this is definitely the place for you. So the food, wine and service outstanding!!! My only criticism was that the pear desert should be eaten using a spoon and fork!!! But that's really nip picking. Then onto breast of duck, and oxtail ravioli as mains onto poached and compressed pears and orange segment with bairblanc ice cream to finish off!! So regarding the food, from venison (not deer) tartar, too zander soup, as starters. new Spanish wine, that suited all of the dishes, knowledge of wines was of a high level. We opted for the A la Carte but you can choose the tasting menu. So then, Chapter One! Let's start with that it's a lovely cosy restaurant with only around 12-14 seats, but the food and service is sublime.
